rentals (CPOA)
In 1982, the Ministère des Affaires culturelles set up the Prêt d’œuvres d’art collection (CPOA), a rental collection that empowered the Musée to promote and disseminate contemporary Québec art beyond the museum network.
The collection has over 1,900 pieces by Québec artists, which are made available through our rental program. The program is designed for government departments, organizations, Québec government offices abroad, and Québec companies.
Every year, many customers benefit from the service, adorning their workplaces (offices, meeting rooms, common areas) with inspiring works of art.
Rental service temporarily suspended
The construction site for the future Espace Riopelle is having a major impact on our operations, particularly on access to our collections. Given that, we have had to suspend our artwork rental service indefinitely.
We thank you for your understanding in this temporary situation. We will make every effort to resume our usual operations as soon as possible. We will keep you informed of any news or decisions regarding when the service will resume.
Price list
Annual rental fees for our works of art are modest, ranging from $220 to $500 per piece. Rental contracts are one or two years long, depending on your customer profile, and may be renewed for up to six years in total.
